I have old board that have the TL16C750PM and I need to increase the baud rate to1.5M

the official baud rate for this component is up to 1.0M,

I know that there is other TI that support this baud but it come in difference package.

so, my question if I able to increase the baud to 1.5M on TL16C750PM?

Hi Yitzhak,

The TL16C750PM is characterized up to 1-Mbaud. Any data rate above this value may or may not work for this device. We can also no longer guarantee electrical specifications in the datasheet if you intend to operate outside the recommended data rate for this device.

My best advice is that you can try the TL17C750PM at 1.5M, but there are no guarantees on our end that this device will work at that speed.
