    Hi Gareth,

    The TCAN1044A (8-pin) or TCAN1043A (14-pin) would be my recommendations for a standard CAN FD transceiver that network support up the 8Mbps. If you are to be implementing CAN in a large or more complex network, you may be interested in upgrading to a CAN FD SIC transceiver with added ringing suppression such as the TCAN1462 or TCAN1463 (8- and 14-pin respectfully). 

    We are still developing our first CAN XL transceiver as the standard for this technology has not yet been fully released. The part number for this device will most likely be TCAN6062.
