Hi,
Since our design plan to use TUSB9261 to transform the SATA interface from USB3.0 interface then to control a M.2 SSD, is it okay of our thought?
If so, would you help to provide the design guideline or reference schematic? Thanks.
Vince

Hi Vince,
According to the datasheet the SATA interface on the TUSB9261 conforms to the following specifications:
SATA Interface – Serial ATA Specification Revision 2.6
- Gen1i, Gen1m, Gen2i, and Gen2m
- Support for Mass-Storage Devices Compatible With the ATA/ATAPI-8 Specification
What are the specs for the M.2 SSD?
As for a reference design, you may refer to the product page of the TUSB9261DEMO Evaluation board | TI.com. The schematic is present at the bottom of the TUSB9261 DEMO User's Guide, which is available on the TUSB9261 product page.

Hi Vince,
Unfortunately, the TUSB9261 is the only USB-to-SATA bridge we have, and the TUSB9261 doesn't support SATA 3.0 only SATA Gen2. There are no new bridges planned at this time.

Nicholaus
