NS16C2552: Input impedance value of receiver input

Genius 4220 points
Part Number: NS16C2552

Hi,

Do you have any data of input impedance value of SIN1 and SIN2?

and SINx of this device have CMOS or TTL buffer?

This thread is for NS16C2552, but it would be very appreciated if you could give me the same information above for PC16552.

Thanks,

Go

  • For both devices, all inputs are high-impedance CMOS inputs. (The PC16552 has TTL-compatible switching thresholds.)

You could derive the input impedance from the input voltage and input leakage current (5 V / 10 µA = 500 kΩ). But the datasheet specifies only the leakage current because this is more useful for designing a circuit.

  • Go,

I agree with Clemens here. Both devices exhibit high-impedance CMOS inputs.

Input impedance can we calculated from the input voltage and input leakage current.

    NS16C2552: 5V / 10uA = 500kohm

    PC16552: 5.5V / 10uA = 550kohm

    Regards,
