SN55LBC176: IBIS file for LCC20 package

Is there an IBIS file available for the SN55LBC176 in the LCC20 package? If so, can you please send it to me.

    Hi Jose,

    Unfortunately not - the LCCC package version of this IBIS model is not available - the closest model we have is the SN65LBC176AD (SN65LBC176A in SOIC package) - so the package parasitics will be different and there will be some parameter differences (A version is a faster device and slight differences in R pin output characteristics) from an electrical point of view its the closest - from a timing point of view its slightly different - mainly with respect to propagation time on the driver. Due to the age of the device I don't think we will be creating any further models for this device and that is most likely the best option we have is the 176AD model.

    Hi Parker,

    It is an older part so that is what I was suspecting. Never hurts to ask. I did find the IBIS for the SOIC (lbc176ad.ibs). The pinout is different as well. Would you know what the RLC values would be for an LCC package?

    Hi Jose,

    So I was looking through all of our other LCCC packages to see if we have a complete IBIS model - and I couldn't find one so I don't have data to provide on the LCCC package. This seems to be a package that wasn't modeled as we seem to be able to point to other electrically similar models when we could in the past. I honestly think this has a lot to do with the age of devices and the semi-rarity  of this specific package.
