Hi Team,
Which specifications of common mode inductors are recommended for TCAN1044A?
Whether there is a test to confirm, if so, could you share the corresponding test report?
Our customers have some concerns about this.
Thanks
Xiaoxiang

Hi Xiaoxiang,
We have an app note outlining some characteristics of CMCs that includes a list of common part numbers for use with CAN. Let me know if this is useful and if the customer has any specific concerns regarding selection or inclusion of these components.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your support.
TCAN1044ADRQ1:
Do we have a test report for TCAN1044AQ1 VeLIO Test? You also need to know the corresponding CMC. Our customers need this report and the corresponding CMC device.
Thanks
Xiaoxiang
Hi Eric,
add information:
TDK:
ACT45C-510-2P
ACT45B-101-2P
Murata:
DLW43SH510XK2L
Do we have Velio's test report on the above CMC?
Thanks
Xiaoxiang
Xaioxiang,
The TCAN1044ADRQ1, TCAN1044AVDRQ1, and TCAN1044AVDRBRQ1 are all approved with the ACT45C-510-2P. The non-A TCAN1044VDDFRQ1 and TCAN1044VDRQ1 are approved with the ACT45B-510-2P. The TCAN1044VDRQ1 is approved with the DLW43SH510XK2L.
The A devices were all approved by family similarity, so they do not have reports associated with their approval. The TCAN1044VDRQ1 has reports for all chokes listed, and you can find them by going to our Field Sharepoint by typing trx/ in your browser while on the TI network. From there, navigate to the CAN folder, then TCAN1044(V) folder, then VeLIO, and the reports will be located in that folder.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Eric Hackett
