SN65DSI84: Still flickering issue

Part Number: SN65DSI84

Hello Zach,

I'm sorry for this 3rd post but we still have the flickering issue.

Below:

#Our design's state:

1. We took the LCD parameters

2. We configured the MIPI-DSI / LVDS bridge registers

3. We configured the MIPI-DSI driver file (it needs to be the same that bridge register)
4. We Initialized correctly the bridge as mentioned in the datasheet

5. We did the ‘INTERNAL TEST PATTERN GENERATOR’ in order to validate the LCD register config, we had no flickering and no wrong colors

#Our tests Fail & Success:

1. We tried to cancel and reduce the Spread Spectrum Clock (SSC) and the Jitter => Still flickering
Remarks: the DSI clock has frequency always 217MHz +/-0.5MHz

2. We changed the registers' values who have an influence on electrical signals: Equalization, Common mode output voltage, differetial output voltage => Still flickering

#Our questions:

1. We always (with or without flickering) have the error's registor 0xE5 with the value 0x01. Rrom the datasheet it is a error on the "UNLOCK PLL"
Do you think it is a "reel error"? If not, how can I delete it ?

2. With this overview of our system, where could we modify something in order to improve it ? (I can already to say to you, we can't add Ref external clock)

Thank you for your help

Charles
