TCA8418: Membrane Keypad ESD Design

Hello,

I am looking at ordering membranes with a screen pirinted gird pattern of conductive silver ink to help against ESD. This would connect with Pin1 of my membrane which goes directly to ROW4 of the TCA8418RTWR. Is this okay or is there a better way to connect the membrane?

    Hi Andrew,

    I will need a few more details about your system to understand if that is a good way to connect the switch. Do you have a schematic prepared for review? May I have a datasheet or part number that you are using for the membrane switch?
