Hi team,

One of our customer's issues, could you please provide some troubleshooting suggestions

Basic status: Analog signal input to pin is normal, power supply is normal, crystal frequency is normal, and the polarity of DATA7 pin is inconsistent with DATA0~DATA6.

1. When using the following circuit, TVP5150 can be successfully configured by using I2C to set the 0X03 register to 0X6F, but the output image is incorrect and the input image is a color bar signal. What are the possible reasons for this phenomenon?

2. After removing the input capacitance of AIP1A, the analog signal is input, and there is an input waveform on the chip pins. However, when reading the 0XC0 register, it remains at 0x00. Is there a possible problem with the PCB design?

    Hi Amy,

    I am sorry, we no longer offer any support for this device (TVP5150/TVP5151) on the E2E forum. You may search the E2E forum for archived posts of previous discussions which may help address your questions. I'd suggest you to try out other boards and see if you can repeat the same problem. If this is happening to one board but not other boards then it suggests the software is fine. But if you can repeat the same problem on all the boards then it is possible that the software (perhaps some configuration) is incorrect or the hardware (perhaps some issues with the board particularly for DATA7 related to trace, loading or connection).  Sorry for lack of guidance.
