Hello TI: we connected VGA port of a PC to TVP7002. The HSYNC input at HSYNC_A pin of TVP7002 was as the following figure, but Sync Detect Status register showed there is no hsync detected.
We set register 0x1A to use HSYNC_A, and set register 0x04 to auto or manually select HSYNC input.
We enabled hsync bypass by Sync Bypass register. There was no output on HSOUT or SOG out pins. But when we connected hsync input to VSYNC_A pin, then the hsync signal appeared on VSOUT pin. So the hsync input signal seemed ok.
Why the hsync input cannot be detected on HSYNC pins?
