TS3DV642: Support for 6 diff pair channel switch?

Part Number: TS3DV642

Hey Interface team,

I have a customer evaluating the TS3DV642 for a new project and they are currently only using the data channels for switching up some CSI/MIPI lanes. We took a look at the datasheet and don't see any major performance differences between the sideband and data channels so do you think that this device would be safe to use as a 6 diff pair channel switch?

Any guidance you can provide here would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, the sideband signal has the same performance as the data channel. We only labeled them as sideband signal to show how the TS3DV642 can be implemented for HDMI application.

If you looking at the TS3DV642-Q1 block diagram, you can see how TS3DV642 can be used for CSI application.

    Thanks
