DS90UB933-Q1: Sensor has 8bit. 933 DIN8~DIN11 Pin can be floated?

Hi teeam,

Based on datasheet that DVP signal has 10bit or 12bit mode. but if sensor is 8bit. can I float DIN8~DIN11 let 933 receive 8 bit signal?
