DS90UB934-Q1: Rout soft ware configure

hi team,

customer use the DS90UB934-Q1, the ROUT have 12 bit, but customer just use 8bit, you can see the next picture, any risk of this, and customer want to know how to configure the Rout software(any registers need configure)

    Hi Colt,

    If they want to use 8-bit, they should connect them to ROUT[0:7] and leave the rest no connect. There is no special configuration for this in software. You will just need to make sure that the partner serializer is using data inputs DIN[0:7], and those will be passed through to ROUT[0:7] automatically
