DP83825I: 100Base-TX UTP+Vout Differential Output Volatge FAIL

Hi Joseph,

Some of DP83825 may not meet the 5% boundary from part to part. But it won't have any effect on throughput or functionality for DP83825. If you are concern about it, DP83826 would be a choice that pass all the compliance test without any variation.

Regarding to 10Base-T and 10Base-Te, the main difference used in compliance test. Please take a look on the following article for more detail:

Thanks for the update on the issue. Do you mean there isn't any register setting that can improve the failed items, right?

Are there any settings we can try to optimize the voltage swing of the line driver?

There is register to improve the performance, but it is part to part variation. Those code might work for some of the PHY.

0x030B, 0x030C, 0x030E are used to tune the swing level of the MDI signal. Please take a look on the table below for tuning the swing level:
