THVD1450: Differential input capacitance of THVD1450 and THVD2450

Hi team,

My customer wants to transfer from SN65HVD1176 to THVD1450/THVD2450, but find there is no data for differential input capacitance.

Can I know what is the differential input capacitance for THVD1450/THVD2450?

    Hi Xiaoying,

    We don't have this spec characterized for the THVD1450 or THVD2450 - its a specification that we have been hit and miss on if we include it in the device characterization. A big reason is that in the vast majority of applications the differential capacitance of the transceiver is completely negligible because the cabling between nodes is going to be much larger even at a couple meters of cabling in most instances. 

    Does your customer have a requirement on the node capacitance that they are trying to stay under? 

    Do you know how long the bus is in your customers application?
