Hi,

We are looking for a small package ESD diode for USB 3.0 data lines due to board space limitations. In terms of packaging, the part TPD4E6B06DPWR appears to be in fine. Can somebody tell me if using TPD4E6B06DPWR ESD diode for the USB 3.0 data lines is okay?

Hi Jab,

This device won't be able to handle the high data rate of USB3.0, you need a device with lower capacitance like TPD4E05U06DQAR. We won't have any packages as small as the DPW but the DQA package is still pretty small (2.5 x 1mm).
