I tried connect a 4TB external hard drive (Model:TS0GSJ25CK3, spec: 5V, 0.9A) to my TUSB8020B USB port but most of time it is unable to detect or sometime it will be cut off after a while.
Other thumb drives or external hard drive does not have this issue when connected to my TUSB8020B board.
My external hard drive can also connected to all other Laptop USB port or any external hub without any problem.
I connected a USB current meter, the current consumption for is only 0.4A, while my USB loadSW limit is set to 1.3A.
Is there any reason why only this external hard drive cannot be detected by TUSB8020B?
I tried measured SMBUSZ (P22), FullPWRMGTZ (P36), PWTCTL_POL (P21) and GANGED (P35) to check their voltage level, all their voltage are 0V.
- There should be internal PU for SMBUZ, GANGED and FULLPWRMGMT, so why voltage measurement is 0V?
