MAX3232 switching frequency of the charge-pump

Hello,

does anyone know the switching frequency of the charge-pump at the MAX3232  ?

I need to know to prevent other parts on board to be influenced of the switching frequency

    Hello   Juergen,

    The internal frequency of the charge pump is 500kHz. There are no data sheet specifications, but it is very reasonable to expect the frequency to always be within -50%/+100%, 250kHz to 1MHz.

    However, the charge pump switches run on a as needed basis to keep V- and V+ at 5.5V. For example, with 3k loads on each driver, the MAX3232 ran one pulse every 12uS (VCC=3.3V).
