Hi Team,

I want to connect multiple DP83TC812R-Q1 be connected on same MDIO and MDC line form Host processor. If yes what care need to be taken and how addressing could be done form host side.

    Hi Manoj, 

    This is possible. In systems with multiple PHYs using same MDIO-MDC bus, a single pull-up resistor must be used on MDIO line. It is recommended to use a resistor between 2.2 kΩ and 9 kΩ.

    You will have to strap the PHYs to different addresses. Please refer to section 8.5.3 PHY Address Configuration for the datasheet on how to do this.
