Hi.
We are using DP83826IRHBR in Basic mode, speed 100M, full duplex. We have a plastic connector and plastic enclosure, unshielded cable CAT5e. We failed the conductive immunity test on Ethernet cable at 10V/m at frequencies cca 60-80MHz. We get a link down at certain frequencies. Exact frequencies change a bit depending on a change we tried on transformer primary (eg. removing Bob-Smith, having BS on center taps of transformer, different BS topologies etc.) We are unable to reproduce the error in home lab, and are waiting for the next time slot in the accredited lab.
Under normal conditions, the device is working flawlessly with 120m cable length (max that we tested).
For the next time slot in the lab we are gathering informations of what to be tested. We believe that DP83826IRHBR is the one that drops the link. We are yet to disable the fast link down feature, which is enabled by default in Basic mode. Apart from that, can you provide any additional recommendations for tests to be performed? Or PHY settings that would rise the immunity threshold? Is there maybe a known issue in this regard?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Borut
