TRS3221E: Interfacing of the TRS3221EIRGTR. Forceon, Forceoff, Enable and Invalid

The /INVALID output can be left open. The three control inputs must not be left floating.

Section 8.4 of the datasheet describes the behaviour of the control inputs.

Hi Syed,

FORCEON, /FORCEOFF, and /EN are all logic inputs and cannot be left floating or else you could experience unwanted behavior

/INVALID - is an output flag and can be left floating if the controller doesn't need this flag output value. 

All the logic is defined in Tables 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3 from the datasheet - shown below:
