Hi team,

Our customer is using the TCA6416 for their project.

And we have some questions:

1. Could you help to confirm how long it takes for the chip from I2C driver configuration finish to actual port output?

This will assist the customer in evaluating the system design& sequence.

2. Could the EN of other chips use the output of ?

    1. This is specified as tPV. Please note that it is shorter than an I²C clock pulse.

    2. The outputs output standard logic signals and can be used for the EN inputs of other chips.

    Hi Xiaoxiang,

    As Clemen's has pointed out, the outputs will change during the ACK bit when data is written to a register. As long as the input of other chips accepts the VoH/VoL generated by our device's output pins, it can be used to control enable inputs.
