TUSB211: Can LP5907 be used for the Vcc?

Hi team,

LP5907 is used for the EVM below, but I am not sure whether LP5907 can meet Vcc ramp time(0.2ms min, 100ms min). Could you confirm whether LP5907 can be used?

Hi Takahashi-San,

If this is the volt. regulator that is used on the TUSB211 EVM that you linked in your post, then yes, this device should work. You just need to ensure that the device is outputting at least 3V before the TUSB211 is enabled.

In terms of the volt, do you mean that the LDO doesn' have to meet the Vcc ramp time if TSBU211 is enabled after the LDO is outputtin at least 3V?

Hi Takahashi-San,

Yes, that is correct. The TUSB211 should not be enabled until the power-up ramp as reached a stable 3V.
