DS100DF410: exact settings needed for NI install

Hello,

I'm trying to install TI application for the DS100DF410SQENOPB.

 

However, during the installation The TI app.  request to install also NI application.

The NI application required lots of memory (GBs)  which I can't support on my LT.

Could you please advise what exact settings are needed for NI installation in order to enable the continuing the installation of the TI DS100DF410SQENOPB application.

    Hi Adam,

    Could you clarify which application you are trying to install?

    If using SigCon Architect and you do not have the full LabView RTE installed, then the following download should work for you:

    https://www.ti.com/tool/SIGCONARCHITECT#downloads

    The DS100DF410 device profile will have to be installed separately, from the following retimer profile package:

    I downloaded snlc054e.zip from TI site .

    TI application request to download NI application  (Texas Instruments SigCon Architect EVM GUI Setup.exe).

    Which option in NI application I need to Install   ?  the NI app.  takes a lot of memory space.

     

    Could you please share/guide which NI app. to install when working with TI DS100DF410 device

    Hi Adam,

    I recommend reinstalling SigCon Architect with the version I referenced above, "SIGCONARCHITECT-WRTE" - snlc055e.zip. This version is bundled with the runtime engine, so you can save memory and not have to install the NI applications separately.
