Dear Team,
We are in the process of implementing your 12G-SDI (LMH1218RTWR) and 3G-SDI (LMH0303SQ/NOPB) driver ICs in our design.
We noticed that the LOS-INT-N pin on your 12G-SDI driver and the FAULT pin on your 3G-SDI driver are open-drain output pins, which, to our understanding, only output 0V or high-impedance.
We are considering the possibility of pulling up these open-drain outputs to 1.5V directly.
Given the nature of open-drain outputs, we believe this should not cause any issues.
However, we would like to confirm this with your team to ensure we are not missing any critical considerations.
Could you please confirm if it is safe and within design parameters to pull up the LOS-INT-N pin of the 12G-SDI driver and the FAULT pin of the 3G-SDI driver directly to 1.5V?
We appreciate your prompt response on this matter, as it would greatly assist our ongoing design efforts.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and expertise.
Best regards,
Diego
