Dear Sir/Madam,

We have a RGB to LVDS project which used TI's transmitter chip.

I would like to know whether I should keep equal length for RGB and LVDS traces.

I did not find such information on data sheet.

Hi Albert,

LVDS max. total trace length is <4000mils, but you might need to look this app note to calculate the ‘e’ (cable skew length) (High Speed Transmission with LVDS Link Devices)

Hi Albert,

Data bits (RGB) length matching would be <5mils and data bits(RGB) maximum total trace length would be <4000mils. But note that this value may be smaller depending on max frequency and resultant rise/fall time. Please see the appnote above for estimate.
