My customer is considering TUSB4041I and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

The vendor ID of TUSB4041I is described as 0451h on page 17 of the data sheet.
Is it possible to use this vendor ID (0451h) to control the equipment manufactured by our company?
Vendor ID information is never output externally.

Yes, for USB hubs it is typical for customers to use the VID/PID of the silicon. A customer may chose to change it if they don't want their product identified as TI silicon and instead want their own company VID used.
