Hi team,

Since my customer would like to design Body control module(BCM) that will need a lot of GPIO ports. Do we have solution with more expansion ports than TCAL9539-Q1?

There is no automotive-qualified expander with more GPIOs. You could combine up to four TCAL9539-Q1‍s on the same bus, and create more bus segments with a multiplexer like the TCA9548A-Q1.

Hi Jimmy,

As Clemen's pointed out we do not currently have an IO expander larger than 16 bits which is automotive qualified. The work around would be to use multiple in parallel.
