DS90UB948-Q1: 948 default configuration MODE_SEL0 issue

 There are some errors in the previous information, the customer selected the resistor as below. And they want to selected below mode. Also they test the VMODE is about 1.82V. But they replied they need to configure the 948 with software again. It can't be configured by external circuit. Could you explain the reason? Or what else should we check?

The customer replied the register address 0x37 is 0x89, not single OLDI output mode.

And the register address 0x49 display 0x01. They need to write 0x02

I have several questions.

1) Just to clarify, is the customer able to successfully override the mode in software?

2) Can you point out where the customer is measuring the voltage VMODE?

3) Is this device connected to a serializer device?

4) Can you please provide the customer's full schematic?

The customer can successfully override the mode in software. They tested the TP15 and got 1.82V. 

I am not sure what this device connected to. What do you want to know from this information? And what else do we need to check?

I would just like to confirm the full setup to get a better picture. How many units does this happen in? Are they doing any configuration before setting the mode?

The customer is doing a new project, so they only have several units which have the same issue.

And except that the register I mentioned before and the  MODE_SEL0, they kept the default configuration in 948 register. Do you have any advice?

I was assigned this e2e question, I will be working with you from now on. From my understanding upon power up of the 948 registers 0x49 = 0x01 and 0x37 = 0x89, this does not reflect your HW configuration, can you confirm? Are you able to overwrite register 0x49? Does overwriting this register 0x49 fix the initial problem?
