Hello,

My customer wants to use the SN75LVCP600S for a 2.5Gbps application, I have the IBIS model for the SN75LVCP601S part, I have seen responses in the E2E forum that the 2 parts are equivalent but the SN75LVCP600S only appears to have 2 De-Emphasis settings while the SN75LVCP601S has 6 (0 to 5). Is there an IBIS model for the SN75LVCP600S? My simulation tool is Hyperlynx.

Hi Steve,

IBIS file just show I vs V. On the other hand, IBIS-AMI model provides a simulation environment for the whole high speed signal path. Please take a look at DS125BR111 which may fit this application. We can also provide you with the IBIS-AMI model for this part. However, i am not aware of IBIS model for the SN75LVCP600S device.

Thank you for the response, unfortunately the part you suggested doesn't have enough output for our application.

On another note, the Rx end of the SERDES channel is a TLK2711, do you have an AMI IBIS model for this part? I do have just a plain IBIS model but it has no functionality for Rx equalization in Hyperlynx.

Hi Steve,

This is an older part and there is not a IBIS-AMI model for this device.
