DS320PR810: I2C secondary mode

Hi,

In figure 8-4, mode pin needs 59kohm for 16lane/i2c secondary mode.

However, in pin description, mode pin needs 24.9kohm for i2C secondary mode.

Could you explain why these are different?

After connect external I2C to redriver SCL/SDA, SCL/SDA of redriver is pull-down.

Could you provide any guide for this issue?

    Hi David,

    Please refer to the pin description for MODE to configure the device with the correct strap settings. Figure 8-4 references an incorrect strap value.

    For I2C secondary mode on the DS320PR810, the correct resistor strap setting would be 24.9k to GND.
