CC2642 - Ethernet power and comm

I would like to know if you recommend any design to be used to be able to program, power and communicate with the BLE chip CC2642 using ethernet.

Hi Firas,

The CC2642 doesn't have any MAC interface peripherals. Our Ethernet PHYs require a MAC interface for operation.

I'm not sure we can implement a PHY with this MCU.

Hi Alvaro,

Would I be able to use something like Lantronix Serial to Ethernet Server? XPort-Direct-Plus_PB.pdf (lantronix.com)

I think the CC2642 has 2 SPI peripherals.

Hi Firas,

I believe this already has a MAC/PHY solution included. You wouldn't need one of our PHYs to use that, but please confirm with that manufacturer to confirm. I cannot confidently speak on behalf of their product.
