TCAN1044AV-Q1: Velio report of TCAN1044AVD

Part Number: TCAN1044AV-Q1

Hi team,

Thanks for your support! My customer would need TCAN1044AV-Q1 pass velio version TCAN1044AVD. would you please provide me related document of this part? thanks!

    Jimmy,

    The TCAN1044AVDRQ1 was passed by family similarity, and at the time of approval VeLIO did not create a document showing the approval due to similarity. It was just put on their list of passing transceivers. The TCAN1044AVDRQ1 was passed based on the TCAN1044VDRQ1 passing with the ACT45C-510-2P, and the reference for that document in VeLIO's system is 47702.

    So if the customer is okay with seeing the passing report of the TCAN1044VDRQ1 device and knowing that the TCAN1044AVDRQ1 was passed based on their similarities, I can share that report, but it will not have the TCAN1044AVDRQ1 part number on it.

    Jimmy,

    Attached is the report for the TCAN1044VDRQ1, which is the certificate that was used to pass the TCAN1044AVDRQ1 by similarity. Note that it does not reference the TCAN1044AVDRQ1 in the report, only the TCAN1044VDRQ1.

    You can also find all EMC reports for devices on our field Sharepoint by going to trx/ in your browser while on the TI network. From there, navigate to the respective interface folder, then RTM devices, then the part number, then EMC reports.

    Hi Eric,

    Excuse! I have three question.

    1. As you said 1044V and 1044AV are similar part number that Velio is pass by 1044V. If the customer is okay with seeing the passing report of the 1044V device and knowing that the 1044AV was passed based on their similarities that there will be ok to use 1044AV at Toyota case. is it correct? Do we have document can proof 1044AV can be used at Toyota even though is 1044V pass Velio? or successful story at this situation? I'm afraid customer will challenge it.

    2. Do we have special part number of 1044V with VeLIO? As TCAN1164 has TCAN1164"T" with VeLIO. 

    3. My customer asked TDK and TDK said they don't suggest using ACT45C-510-2P. Do we have second CMC solution?

    1. For this, I will need to contact TI Japan. VeLIO and Toyota keep lists of approved devices, but I do not have access to that list. There is no official report of the TCAN1044AV-Q1 getting certified, but I will ask again to see if one can be generated.

    2. No, same part number.

    3. Not with this particular transceiver, but we can push TI Japan to get other CMC's passed by family similarity with TCAN1044V-Q1, it is certified with 3 different CMCs. Can you email me directly about the customer's timeline?
