Hello,

I was wondering if this evaluation board driver supports Windows 11 surround sound when selecting 5.1 or quadrophonic settings from Windows control panel? If I fade rear in my application the 3rd and 4th channels do not emit any sound. I have channels 1 through 4 of this eval board arranged as FL, FR, SL, SR, surround speakers.

Hi Robert

I'm sorry that, through EVM, there would be only I2S format could pass to TAS6424 device, so there's only 2 channel audio data could be successfully transferred. And the channel 3/4 used the same data as channel 1/2 on the EVM. For more channel data using condition, we could only use jumper J5 to J8 to send in PSIA signal directly.

Hi, Thank you for informing me about I2S data. Can you describe how I would use jumper J5 to J8 to send in PSIA signal directly? Can you show me an example with the image of the board here? Thanks

Please remove the jumper at J5, J6, J7, J8. And send in the correct I2S clock/data through the position as below picture.
