ESD1LIN24-Q1: how to choose suitable ESD for LIN bus?

In order to be 100% sure on this recommendation, could you please provide the device GPN that you are trying to protect? If absolute maximum rating is a DC spec, there could be a few volts margin before the device will be damaged from a transient pulse. Clamping voltage is a transient test condition, meaning that a higher clamping voltage might be able to protect the device. With this in mind, providing the device number of the part you are protecting will allow me to more accurately respond to this.

Device GPN is Elmos E524.17. but the full datasheet isn't release.

Could you please provide the maximum voltage ratings for each pin being protected? If they are indeed 30V, I would recommend testing samples of ESD1LIN24-Q1 before implementing them into the system. The device parameters can vary slightly from what is listed in the datasheet and will require more extensive testing to be certain if this device will be a good fit for your application.

I will discuss with customer. btw, might I know that normal situation ESD1LIN24-Q1 protest's device should have how much absolute Maximum Voltage Rating for the pin? And should meet what kind of values of ESD1LIN24-Q1 that we can make sure ESD1LIN24-Q1 can be used?
