PCA9548A : thermal pad to gnd ?

Hi,

I am designing a new board with a PCA9548A on it. I am using the RGE/PQFP package. Should I connect the thermal pad to the ground or leave it floating ? I can't find any info in the datasheet or on the web.

You can connect it to either a floating pad or to GND. (Do NOT connect it to VCC.)

Hi Edward,

Thank you for pointing that out. I will forward it on to our team and have them add a note in the datasheet. The thermal pad is not internally connected and so you can connect it either way.
