Hello team,
Would you please confirm if the following configuration of TCA9517-Q1 is available?
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Sam Lee
Hi Sam,
I agree with Clemens. This type of B to A-A configuration is fine. You should not see problems with this implementation.

Tyler
Sam,
B side of TCA9517 has a ViLc spec of around 0.4V. Since it looks like you are communicating across cabling which is inductive and noisy you may see issues if 9517 on the left side picks up noise on it's B side while it is releasing it's low which can cause A side of itself to redrive itself if the noise drops below 0.4V during the release process. I generally recommend customers who use TCA9517 with cables to have A side face the cable end if possible since this side has larger margins with ViL being 30% of VCCA.
If you can, flip the left TCA9517.
