Hi team,
Can this device be used in medium vacuum conditions?
Best,
Ryu

Hi Ryu,
What is the application here? I'm not familiar with "medium vacuum conditions".
Regards,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian,
A medium vacuum is a vacuum with an atmospheric pressure of 102 Pa to 10-1 Pa.
Application is a measuring instrument.

Hi Ryu,
This part has been through qualification testing in an autoclave according to the JESD22-A102/JESD22-A118 standard. This standard specifies an atmospheric pressure of 205kPa for the test conditions of the autoclave.
You can access the qualification report here: https://www.ti.com/quality-reliability-packaging-download/report?opn=ESD122DMXR
Out of curiosity what kind of measuring instrument is this?
Regards,
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian,
Autoclave is not an in-operating test, is it?
I want to make sure it operates in the environment.
Since this was a question from my customer, I did not ask what kind of measuring device is used.
Best,
Ryu
Hi Ryu,
Can you clarify what you mean by in-operating test?
This is the only qualification test done under pressure for commercial rated devices.

Sebastian
Hi Sebastian,
What I wanted to ask was if it would work in a pressurized environment.
Isn't this test to check if it works in a normal environment after pressurization? I asked.
Best,
Ryu
Hi Ryu,
There is no bias applied during the autoclave test, however the Biased Highly Accelerated Stress Test (BHAST) is also run for this device and can be seen on the qualification report. This test is done with a bias voltage applied to the device in a temperature controlled chamber with a pressure of 33.5 psia2 according to JESD22-A110.

Sebastian
