TCAN1167-Q1: maximum LDO output current that can be delivered externally

Hi team,

I see in below description, due to the LDO supply both CAN transceiver and VCCOUT, the maximum current that can be delivered externally is influenced by the current consumed by CAN. 

Do you have a specification about the amount of current consumed by CAN transceiver? We want to know the external maximum LDO output current typically. We didn't find it in datasheet. For below supply current, is LDO connected to load or not? Is LDO current included?

    Hi Iris,

    The current specification for Isup is what is possible to output on the Vccout pin while the CAN transceiver is drawing its maximum load, so the 70mA will always be available to the external load regardless of the state of the CAN transceiver. It would technically be possible to draw more current from Vccout if the CAN transceiver was idle or below its maximum load, but we do not specify or rate the device for this use. 

    The actual current consumed by the transceiver will be roughly equal to that which is specified for TCAN1043A (60mA dominant, 35mA average).

    Thanks. Very clear. Suggest you could add and highlight the answer you said in datasheet. It will be much easier to understand.
