DP83867IR: transformerless connection to Ethernet/USB bridge

Part Number: DP83867IR
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83869

Hello,

We are using this PHY in our processor plattform in combination with Pulse H5007NL Magnetics  and RJ45 connector.

now we have to do a connection to Microchip LAN7800 Ethernet bridge to convert to USB Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and /or SuperSpeed USB3.1 on same board.

I wonder if I can connect DP83867IR outputs directly wo any transformer part successfully  just by capacitive coupling as described eg. in Application Report SNLA088A for DP83848,

any expierience and helpfull hints (eg limitations,...) appreciated

Many thanks, Kind rgds, Thomas
