It is shown from datasheet Figure 9-4 that the PHY does not require a crystal in Pin XI. Is it correct?

Hi Nanjun,

I understand how the figure can be misleading. XI always requires a reference clock. The frequency depends on which MAC mode you're using. Please see the XI Pin Description in Table 6-1 Pin Functions in the SNLS654B DP83TC812x Data Sheet
