AM26C31:AM26C31 出力トランジスタ 耐圧

Part Number: AM26C31
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPL7407LA

  • The absolute maximum ratings do not allow 24 V. And there is only a single enable control signal for all four drivers, so it is probably not possible to get proper open-drain signals.

Why do you want to use the AM26C31 for this? Do you also need differential outputs? A plain driver like the TPL7407LA would work better for open-drain outputs.

  • Hi yoneyama,

Clemens is correct - this device cannot stand 24V on its bus pins (+/-14V is differential voltage max). Also due to device architecture its not really possible to mimic an open-drain system (from an internal architecture they are push-pull -not open drain; you'd need to use the enable + bus biasing resistors to mimic an open drain - but as Clemens alluded to there is only 1 enable for 4 different channels - so a true "open drain" style of operation is not possible)

Since this is single ended it seems as well I don't think RS-422 are the best type of devices - using a standard Driver like Clemens suggested would be a better place to start as I don't think the AM device will be a good fit for this application.

    Best,
