Hi Gareth,

1). Typically at the end of the data sheet or chapter 9 or 10, there is pcb layout recommendation.

2). Also, recently we released PCIe Gen5 pcb layout recommendation which can be used for DS160PT801 as well. Please below note a link to this application note:

Is there any rule for the front and rear trace lengths of the re-timer DS160PT801 and DS160PR410? Thank you

Hi Gareth,

Yes there is. Application note that we referred you to earlier, applies to traces between the device and root complex and the end point(front and rear traces).
