"We want to use a DS90UB638-Q1 (Link) as a FPD-Link III to MIPI CSI-2 deserializer. The datasheet of the device mentions that it is compatible with DS90UB635-Q1 and DS90UB633A-Q1 serializers. We want to know if the device is also compatible with the DS90UB953-Q1 serializers (Link).

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question. The DS90UB638-Q1 is a part of our low-cost portfolio and can only be paired with other DS90UB6xx devices like the DS90UB635-Q1 and DS90UB633A-Q1. If you would like to use the DS90UB953-Q1 serializer in your system, a different deserializer from the DS90UB9xx family will be needed instead.
