TCAN1046A-Q1: Can two channels be used simultaneously- one for CAN 2.0 and another for CAN FD?

Yes, this can be done. The CAN transceiver is merely translating logic signals to CAN bus differential signals through a physical layer. It doesn't have any intelligence to determine what kind of CAN message protocol is being used. That being said, CAN 2.0 and CAN FD cannot be used on the same bus. I assume the two channels will be separate, so this won't be a problem, but I wanted to make that clear just in case.
