Hi,

1. For DP1.4 2:1 mux, except HD3SS214, Does TI have any other better suggetion?

2. Cutomer reply HD3SS214 seems hard to layout out, does it have any document can reference?

3. For DP2.0 2:1 mux, does TI have any develop product? please send to local FAE Ko, Zoe <zoe_ko@ti.com> and me Jeff YC Yang <JeffYC.Yang@arrow.com>.

Hi,

Add one more question, due to I'm not familiar for high speed signal.

For this kind of high speed interface application, is it possible to evaluate DP1.4 signal attenuation when using likes HD3SS214 this kind of switch?

Or only meansure on real product to know the it needs redriver or retimer?

3. - For redriver plus de-mux, please use SN75LVPE5412, https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn75lvpe5412.pdf.

- For passive de-mux only, please use TMUXHS4412, https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tmuxhs4412.pdf.

4. What is the end application? Please refer to the 6.8 Typical Characteristics for questions on signal integrity for HD3SS214.

For item2, please help send me via private message.

For item3, Does SN75LVPE5412, I found it use in PCIE gen5 apllication normally. Does it have reference design or docusment can reference?

And for 2 in 1 out application, Should I use SN75LVPE5421?

For item4, It is KVM docking. I will send you block diagram via private message.

One more question, I found SN75LVPE5421 only 4 lane mux switch, for AUX_CH（p）and AUX_CH（n）seems no swtich can support?

Are you looking for the same documents as supplied for the HD3SS214 mux?

Please see page 1 of the datasheet that shows the application case for either the 2:1 and 1:2 de-mux or mux application use case.

Please refer to section 8.2.2 Protocol Agnostic Linear Redriver for High Speed Interfaces. This section shows how you would implement your need to support AUX with a separate bidirectional switch or the TS3A5223 as used in the example in the datasheet.
