TLK105: Software impact on PHY IC if we change from TLK105RHBR PHY to DP83822IF PHY

Hi,

We used PHY IC TLK105RHBR in our Product, its life cycle is NRND. TI Team suggested DP83822IF as replacement.

My Question is If we change to TLK105RHBR part to DP83822IF part is there any software impact in terms of registers and configurations.

Hello,

From TLK105 to DP83822, there are more registers available for the user to adjust with if needed for the application. However, from a out-of-box standpoint, no registers are needed to get the PHY up initially.
