Hi I like to know if TFP401A can decode a 480i video signal. Do you have supported video signal formats for this chip?

Hi,

The TFP401A can only decode TMDS video-only streams with pixel rates up to 165 MHz (including 1080p and WUXGA at 60 Hz), if there is audio embedded on the TMDS stream the TFP401A will not sync.

Hi David, Are you saying without audio TFP401A can decode/support incoming 480i and 1080i interlace video streams? Audio will not be in the TMDS stream.

Hi David,
Please be aware that TFP401A not TFP410.
Does TFP401A support 480i and 1080i interlace video streams without audio?
If TFP401A supports interlace video streams:
Does it produce half-line offset vertical sync for even filed?

Hi,

This was a typo on my part, it should be "TFP401A can support 480i and 1080p without audio stream".

The TFP401Ais compliant to the DVI Revision 1.0 specification, which does not mention support of interlaced video. Therefore, it is not something the TFP401A was designed for.
