Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN4551-Q1,
Hi Expert,
The engineer is DIN TCAN4550RGYR.
And they are asking whether TI get the Lower speed version/solution from TCAN4550?
They do not the high performance from TCAN4550.
Thanks
Eric

Hello Eric,
I'm not sure what you mean by "lower speed version/solution" and whether that is referring to the SPI or CAN data rates. But generally I understand your question to be that you are interested in a reduced feature version of the TCAN4550 which is a standalone CAN FD controller with integrated CAN FD transceiver that connects to a MCU through a SPI interface.
The only comparable device we have is the TCAN4551-Q1 which removes the 5V LDO for external use, and removes the Watchdog. But both the TCAN4551-Q1 and the TCAN4550-Q1 support the same SPI and CAN FD Data bit rates.
If I have misunderstood your question, please let me know.

Jonathan
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your support and understanding.
The engineer is used the TCAN4550RGYR today, and mentioned the system only need 1Mbps.
And they are asking whether TI get the lower speed solution to get cost down.
Thanks
Eric
Hi Eric,
Thanks for clarifying. We do not have any alternative options to offer.
