TRS3232E: Question of RJ45 user case from TRS3232EIPWR

Hi Expert,

The customer is using the TRS3232EIPWR for console port, RJ45.

And the engineer is asking the concern of 100ohm on PIn A4,A5.

Pls see the schematic: 

Pls advice the concern of 100ohm and share us the reference design for this user case if had

    Hi Eric,

    I don't see any issue - unless I am missing something (please feel free to let me know if I am misunderstanding anything)  - those 100 Ohm resistors on A4/A5 aren't connected to the RS-232 signals on A6 and A3. If they are connected then yes - because you are overloading the RS-232 bus - but if they don't directly connect to the RS-232 bus I don't see an issue.
